The article presents the results of a study aimed at determining the attitudes of managerial staff toward the application of socio-psychological management methods in the management of medical institutions, identifying the factors that influence these attitudes, and developing ways to optimize management. The study was conducted among 120 managers at various hierarchical levels within medical institutions using a specially developed expert evaluation program. It was found that only 9.2% of managers perceive themselves as entrepreneurs, which negatively affects their motivation and sense of responsibility. At the same time, 93.3% of respondents reported that establishing a “common language” within the team promotes collaboration and mutual understanding. Only 65.8% of management personnel support independent thinking and creative initiative, with a strong positive correlation (ρ=0.89) observed between this factor and management effectiveness. Additionally, 81.7% of managers trust their subordinates, yet 39.2% apply the same approach to different situations, limiting opportunities for innovative decision-making. Variance analysis revealed the influence of various factors on attitudes toward socio-psychological management methods. It is concluded that enhancing managerial competencies in socio-psychological methods, considering the psychological characteristics of the team, and implementing innovative approaches are essential conditions for improving the efficiency of medical institutions.
