Abstract

In order to determine the forms of onychomycosis in patients with skin mycosis accompanied by foot epidermophytosis and rubromycosis, the occurrence and nosological structure of concomitant skin pathologies, and the complications caused by fungal infections and their structure, a total of 250 military personnel from internal troops with skin mycosis were involved in the study. This included 125 people with foot epidermophytosis and 125 people with foot rubromycosis. During the phase where we determined the distribution of normotrophic and hypertrophic forms of onychomycosis, the normotrophic form was recorded in 76.8±3.78% of patients with skin mycosis and leg dermophytosis. In total, secondary pyoderma from fungal infection was recorded in 16 patients suffering from skin mycosis with foot rubromycosis and foot epidermophytosis. Allergic dermatitis was observed in 25.0±10.8% of patients with secondary infection.
