The research is devoted to the study of the prevalence of cutaneous leishmaniasis on the territory of Azerbaijan. In the recent years, the incidence of cutaneous leishmaniasis in Azerbaijan has been relatively increasing. Cutaneous leishmaniasis cases were analyzed for the period from 2010 to 2020. On the basis of the processed material, it was determined that 251 patients with cutaneous leishmaniasis were registered in Azerbaijan for the specified period. Analysis of epidemiological data showed that the incidence of cutaneous leishmaniasis in Azerbaijan is of an non-stable wave nature. The highest extensive index was 0.431 per 100 thousand population in 2019, the lowest - 0.100 per 100 thousand population - in 2010 The uneven distribution of the incidence of the disease in different years and regions, apparently, is related with the characteristics of social and natural factors affecting the epidemiological picture of the prevalence of cutaneous leishmaniasis.
