Abstract

The article presents the results of a research study aimed at optimising anastomotic regeneration and preventing colorectal anastomotic leakage, which remains one of the most pressing problems in modern surgery. The study included 177 patients who underwent colorectal anastomosis; 97 were placed in the main group and 80 in the control group. In the main group, the blood supply of the anastomotic area was evaluated using the angiotensiometry method, and surgical tactics were selected based on these findings. To eliminate mechanical tension at the anastomosis, the authors applied special patented fixation suture methods (Patent No. 048190, 31.10.2024; Patent No. 052053, 26.12.2025). Additionally, the "Laennec" preparation was used to accelerate the regeneration process in the anastomoses. According to the study results, the application of complex prophylactic measures led to a significant decrease in the colorectal anastomotic leakage rate, dropping to 4.12% in the main group compared to 16.25% in the control group. In conclusion, the measurement of intramural pressure, the elimination of tension via fixation of the afferent loop to anatomical support points, and the use of the Laennec preparation were shown to be effective methods that minimise the risk of colorectal anastomotic leakage.
