The article presents the macro microscopic data on the age characteristics of the lymphoid apparatus of the intrahepatic bile ducts of people belonging to different periods of extrauterine development. For this purpose, the lymphoid structures of intrahepatic bile ducts taken from 46 human cadavers of different ages, starting from newborns to old age, were stained with hematoxylin-eosin and hematoxylin-picrofuchsin by the methods of Van Gizon and Weigert. Photographs of the micro preparations were taken under the same conditions and in the same mode on a "Micro Optix" (Germany) light-optical microscope equipped with a "Topica TP1002DS" imaging video system. As a result of the research, it was determined that all morphogenetic forms of lymphoid derivatives are detected in the mucous membrane of intrahepatic bile ducts. The lymphoid apparatus of these bile ducts is fully formed when the child is born. In newborns, all morphological forms of lymphoid derivatives are constantly present - diffuse lymphoid tissue, and lymphoid nodes with and without a germinal center. Intercellular connections are determined in the walls of intrahepatic bile ducts from early childhood to the 1st adulthood. Lymphoid progenitors reach their maximum development in early childhood. After this age period, gradual involutional changes are noted. Involution of lymphoid formations is manifested by a decrease in the number and size of lymphoid nodes, a decrease in the capacity of lymphoid cells, and an increase in the level of degenerative processes, which are increasingly progressive in old age.
