The article presents a study conducted with the aim of evaluating the anatomical dimensions of pelvic organs in female patients who underwent laparoscopic sacrocolpopexy, based on the Pelvic Organ Prolapse Quantification (POP-Q) system. The study enrolled 235 patients in a retrospective, comparative, non-randomized controlled cohort design with parallel groups. Patients were followed up at 1, 6, and 12 months postoperatively, with anatomical outcomes assessed using the POP-Q system. Statistical analysis was performed using descriptive methods, analysis of variance, and the Pearson chi-square test, with a significance threshold set at p≤0.05. The study demonstrated statistically significant improvement across all POP-Q parameters at one month following surgery (p≤0.01), with stability of the achieved anatomical outcomes maintained throughout the 6- and 12-month follow-up periods. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that laparoscopic sacrocolpopexy ensures high efficacy in the surgical management of advanced-stage pelvic organ prolapse and allows for the attainment of stable anatomical outcomes over the long term.Downloads
