This study investigates the outcomes of simultaneous hernioalloplasty and abdominoplasty in 64 patients with postoperative ventral hernia (W1–W4) and obesity (grades 1–3), utilizing new synthetic materials such as monofilament polypropylene composite mesh and the absorbable adhesive barrier "INTERCEED-TC7." The focus of the study was to assess the local status and quality of life postoperatively, comparing the results of abdominoplasty performed with these materials to those of hernioalloplasty alone. The findings indicate that simultaneous hernioalloplasty and abdominoplasty significantly reduced the recurrence of hernias by 50% after one year or more, when compared to hernioalloplasty. Moreover, this combined procedure led to substantial improvements in the patients’ quality of life and contributed to a 24% reduction in body mass.
