The article presents the results of visual determination of the loading zone under the denture base after prosthetic treatment of secondary complete adentia (STA) with completely removed plate prostheses (TPP). The study consists of the results of visual inspection of the denture bed of 204 patients aged 45 to 90 years, including 102 (50.0%) men and 102 (50.0%) women, 33 days after prosthesis application. For this purpose, the mucosa of the denture bed was wiped with Schiller-Pisarev solution. After 30-60 seconds, 3% Azur-Eosin solution was rubbed to accelerate the staining of the inflammatory part of the mucosa. This allowed the area of inflammation caused by pathological overload to be seen by the eye. After 60 seconds, the inflamed area stained from light brown, blue-violet to black, and this colouration persisted for 15 minutes. The classification of prosthetic application was assessed on an intensity scale. After staining, all patients had a light brown prosthesis, which corresponds to normal mucous winter on the intensity scale. Thus, when preparing TTP by the improved method, the denture can not have an additional traumatic effect on the area of the denture, there is no inflammatory area.
