Abstract

The article provides information on the current state of maxillofacial pathology among conscripts. 432 surveyed conscripts were diagnosed with maxillofacial pathology. Conscripts were examined clinically, laboratory, radiologically. The most common pathologies were adentia, open bite and lower macrognathia. It was found that the number of conscripts with maxillofacial pathology sent for examination was significantly higher. The results obtained confirm that the effectiveness of the work of the dental service among children and adolescents, diagnosis in time and treatment of them contributes to an increase in the number of conscripts fit for military service.
